This Should Have Been Posted On Friday....
TALES FROM THE BRAT FARM
I DID climb into bed with Chewlee last night but, OMG, that kid is a nightmare at times to sleep with. She twists around and I had her feet on my neck at one point. I kept turning her into the right position and covering her up. She seemed chilled at times and then hot so she would kick the covers off herself. That meant she also kicked MY covers off. Not fun when you are really tired, and I was. I finally gave up. I got out of bed, kissed Chewlee on her forehead and headed back to my recliner and my TV. One of my favorites was on (Orangutan Island).
I slept fitfully because my one leg kept cramping on me. I finally got up, checked my email and decided to do a scan of my hard drive because I wasn't certain what was causing a problem on one of my favorite sites. It was really messed up. Showed me at a much higher rank but with no tokens to play the game. It kept changing the amount of tokens when I would check it. I finally wrote the site and complained and found out I wasn't the only one having the problem. I gave up on it then and figured it would take them days. **NOTE: they actually fixed it today and I could play on it again.**
Chewlee got up, full of piss and vinegar. She took a ride with the Beast and they went and bought another fishbowl (the normal goldfish kind) and a new fish. The Beast decorated it nicely and it has the pretty rocks in it that Chewlee liked. I gather from complaints from both of them that it wasn't a nice ride together. I think part of it is because Chewlee wants to tell her side but the Beast doesn't want to listen to her. He just reacts and it's usually not nicely. Chewlee had found one of her pencils in the driveway (she obviously dropped it when she went home the night before) and she had it in her hand in the car. The Beast saw it, assumed she was going to write on the upholstery or some such thing and he grabbed it, put his window down and threw it out. Chewlee was upset, of course, and the Beast just yelled at her to shut up, he didn't want to hear it. That meant he wasn't open to discussing it. Chewlee beckoned to me to come into my computer room because she * had to talk to me.*
The Beast just whispered to me that she was a real *bitch and gave him a hard time.* He never told me what happened. I had to construe it from what Chewlee complained about. She said that the pencil was broken now because he threw it out on the road. I really don't know which one of them is the real child. **Sigh**
Love you all. I'm tired and need some rest. Hope you have a great weekend.
The Princess was sick but she came to pick up Chewlee to drop her off at her paternal grandfather's hotel, I believe. She really didn't tell me. I just knew to get Chewlee dressed for her and then send her outside where her mother was waiting (and harboring her germs, thank you Princess!) I've been sick once this week that lasted much longer than I cared for. I'm grateful she spared us any more germs.
After Chewlee left, I pretty much died. I was so sleep deprived that I fell asleep for about five hours. I got up, ate something, drank something and went back to sleep. I was up for a few hours, played a couple of games on Pogo and then went back to sleep until about 10am this morning. That's why I didn't post the above. Sorry 'bout that. I wasn't thinking.
I'll post something later....if anything more interesting than what has gone on so far happens. It's been a kind of dead, dull day so far. It's even icky outside. It's also cold. Love you all.
