I AM BEGINNING TO HATE YIM....
TALES FROM THE BRAT FARMI can almost tell you to the minute when my regular Yahoo Instant Messenger will fail every day....try around 6:30pm Central. And, try as I might, I don't get it back until almost 8pm. I kid you not. It's not my internet...I am still online and playing my games. Plus, I CAN access messenger via my email connection. If you have yahoo email, you know what I mean. So, what's up with that????
I know they want me to use IE (Internet Explorer) but I use Firefox because I love the features and I have less trouble with it. I also have the new Windows 7 but I had it when I downloaded the new version of YIM and it was supposed to be compatible. They (Yahoo) keep sending me surveys about my feelings on their customer service and I will NOT fill one out until I AM satisfied. I'm still sending complaints on an almost daily basis so how could there possibly be ANY satisfaction. Worse, the surveys are very slanted in the responses they allow you. So, like I said...until this problem is resolved, no survey.
Still haven't heard from the gun dealer in Huntsville. Oh, and I thought the Beast was buying another .308 but I was wrong. That was the perfect rifle, according to the Beast but he says he couldn't really handle it at his age and due to the effects of the strokes. What he already has and also ordered was a 30.30. A Luger, I gather but I only half listen to his rantings about bullets, their differences, the costs, etc. It's not MY obsession.
I spent a half hour on the phone with Buttmunch today. I'm not sure just why she called but we had a few giggles. I won't go into what we were talking about just because it really was disgusting but we managed to find something funny about it. It reminded me of an episode of South Park about the biggest turd in the world. That was such a man-thing episode. We all have such weird senses of humor.
As predicted, our temperature dropped today. Our high was 37. It was down around 28 last night...not sure if it dropped lower than that. I was nice and comfy under the down comforter and electric blanket. It's going down even more tonight and they are predicting snow. Not a lot of it but definitely flurries that should last into late morning. It will get warm enough to melt it off and then down to about 22 at night. *Sigh* It's no wonder so many people get sick with this weird weather. Hope you all have managed NOT to be sick. If you are suffering from a sinus cold, like me, I sympathize with you on that. It's miserable and I have used up almost two full boxes of Kleenex in just three days. I get them with the aloe in it so at least my nose isn't raw.
So, stay warm (or cool if you are in that kind of climate) and have a great day today (tomorrow...LOL). Love you all and thanks for stopping by.
