  • A Harry Potter Day And A Correction

    TALES FROM THE BRAT FARM

First of all, let me correct myself from a boo-boo.  I said yesterday that Sheepie and the Princess had gone to the show to see *It's Complicated* and I gave credit to the female star being Glenn Close.  It's not.  It's Meryl Streep.  My apologies to all and a thanks to Bratfink for calling it to my attention.

Today, Sheepie and I watched the Harry Potter movies from the start.  We had watched the newest one (The Half Blood Prince) yesterday but decided to do them all today.  It's so neat to watch them all growing up as the story goes along.  Sheepie thinks that Draco is really good looking as he grows up but doesn't like the character he plays.  She also has a *thing* for Ron.    And, of course, Harry gets better looking as he gets older, too.  Hermione is a doll and she looks absolutely beautiful in her dress for the ball in *Chalice of Fire*.

It was fun to sit here together and make our comments.  Almost as much fun as Bratfink and I have watching our movies together when we are online (but watching the same thing).  Hey!  It works for us.    The difference is our ages.  Sheepie's concerns and likes are formed by her age group.  She notices things like hair styles and makeup and other things that don't really matter to me and, truthfully, I wouldn't have noticed if she had not called them to my attention.  Try it one day.  It's an interesting experience.

In case you haven't noticed, I've been experimenting with different typefaces on my blog.  I've decided that I like this one best of all so it will do me for now.

I will have Chewlee tomorrow night (New Year's Eve) so that the Princess and her fiance (isn't that cute?  It still tickles me) can go out or do whatever it is they want.  Buttmunch will be home by about 9:30pm so there will be plenty of time for her and Circle to celebrate and be there for the midnight kiss for a Happy New Year.  And that is what I wish for everyone.  HAPPY NEW YEAR! AND A HEALTHY ONE, TOO FOR EVERYONE.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY.
