  • UPDATE ON TONTO.....

    They have finally diagnosed his problem. It is called TTP-HUS. Here is the link to read about it if you are interested.

    They have put a stent in him and started doing the plasma transfusions at 9pm (Central) on Thursday evening. They will continue to do so until he responds. He is also getting dialysis since his kidneys had failed him. They believe that they will start working again once the plasma does it's work.

    Tara thanks everyone for their prayers. She is feeling a lot more hopeful since they at least have a firm diagnosis. After reading about it, I can understand why it's so difficult to figure out and to treat. I will keep you posted.
