Update On The Dog
TALES FROM THE BRAT FARM
The Beast tore out another of the fruit trees that just isn’t producing. There was fruit on it but not much of it and it was starting to rot before it even reached mature size. **Sigh** He had such hopes. I hate to see the waste.
The Beast finally got the dog into the vets and right now he’s on two different medications to heal the sore on his back before she will do the surgery on the *lumps* *tumors*….whatever you want to call them. It turns out he has TWO of them; one on each side and in almost the same place. They are right near the upper junction of the legs and near what would be the *underarm* area where a lot of nerves, veins and arteries are located that are important. The one thing we don’t want to happen is for the tumors to wrap themselves around any of that stuff and make it inoperable. I couldn’t believe she wouldn’t just get rid of those things immediately but I guess she doesn’t like the looks of that sore on Baron’s back and wants it gone so it won’t cause any problems with any surgical openings and stitches. I just hope that it takes no longer than the 14 days worth of medications we have for Baron to heal that sucker. It’s not all that big but Baron keeps rubbing it raw and reopening it. Maybe this time, it will heal.
