  • Nerve-Wracking Day For Me

    TALES FROM THE BRAT FARM

I didn’t dare put on my jammies because of the Beast’s nose bleeding problem.  I was scared to death that I would have to either take him to the emergency room or call 9-1-1 depending on how much blood he was losing the next time.  He had already lost a lot of blood…and I mean that without exaggeration.

I slept on my recliner, in my clothes.  He got up two or three times but not due to a nose bleed.  I had almost no sleep so I wasn’t awake when he came running in to me babbling about milk and eggs in the trunk of the car.  He had gone to the store because he felt okay but his nose started bleeding as he was leaving Walmart.  He drove home with one hand but, truth be told, he wasn’t bleeding as he had before.  Shortly after arriving home, the nose bleed stopped and we both breathed a sigh of relief.  He eventually fell asleep in his recliner while watching football.  Later he had a bacon and egg sandwich.  I had a BLT.

Perhaps we won’t have to deal with this now for a while.  I’m going to get him in to see an E.N.T. as soon as I can.  I’ll call around tomorrow and see who can get him in fastest.  He needs to find out why this is happening to him.  Whatever tests he needs, need to be done because MY nerves can’t take it and it’s not easy on him to go through this either.

I’m shot and the Beast is going to bed early so I’m going to TRY to relax and get some sleep.  Even a few hours of sleep will help.  Hope you had a better weekend than I did.

    Love you all.
